We bill guests upon checkout, not when items are shipped. Some of our products (handmade signs, made-to-order items, and special order products) can take several weeks to ship. We prefer to give our customers control of exactly when their card is charged, rather than making them wait and potentially be surprised by a large unexpected charge weeks after purchase.
Your payment is processed through our super-secure payment gateway. We use a service that is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. This includes an SSL certificate that uses industry standard 128 bit encryption technology. This is the same level of encryption used by large banks to keep your information secure.
